Lead Climbing Course (18+ years)

The Lead Climbing Course is designed to help adults make the transition from top rope climbing to lead climbing on indoor walls. If you have been climbing for a while and would like to take the next step, the Lead Climbing Course will help you do just that and give you the skills to take you into our lead climbing area.

When

The Lead Climbing Course consists of 3x 2 hour sessions on a weekday evening spread over consecutive weeks.

Each 2 hour session runs from 7:30pm to 9:30pm

If you have a group of at least 4 adults please contact us and we can organise course dates and times to suit your requirements.

Course details

Many climbers find it difficult to make the leap from top roped to lead climbing and although lead climbing can be a more satisfying and enjoyable way of climbing, it can also be more dangerous. Taking you safely through all aspects of lead climbing on an indoor wall, the Lead Climbing Course is highly recommended for anyone looking to progress their climbing skills and abilities. • Quickdraws and racking.
• Physical and psychological preparation for leading.

The Big Rock Lead Climbing Course is especially aimed at climbers who have previously attended our Beginner Intro Climbing Course or Taster Sessions, but will also suit people who have been taught by friends up to the top roping level and now want to progress a stage further.

Price

£56 per person.

The price includes entry to the climbing wall and all instruction and equipment required for each session.
