The Rockhopper Bouldering Club at Big Rock Climbing Centre is for experienced youngsters who enjoy climbing and wish to improve their skills in a fun and sociable environment.

Each session lasts for 2 hours and although formal instruction is not included, the Bouldering Club is fully supervised by a Big Rock Instructor meaning advice, guidance and feedback on climbing skills and techniques is readily available.

Bouldering is a form of low level climbing typically limited to a height of 4-5m to ensure safety and practised with the use of soft foam matting to help prevent injury from falling. Rockhopper Bouldering Club is all about learning how to climb responsibly and with suitable precautions.

Every Friday 5:30pm - 7:30pm

Please note, these sessions are for experienced young climbers only and do not include any roped climbing.

Places must be pre-booked by either phoning Big Rock or by visiting the Climbing Centre. Parents will need to sign a parental consent form, and must therefore attend prior to their child's first session.

Price

£8 per person per session.

The price includes entry to the climbing wall and all equipment required.
